Sten is the Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Pyrophyte Acquisition Corp. Sten is a highly experienced energy service industry executive, investment banker and corporate securities attorney. With over 25 years of experience in the global energy sector, Sten has advised on more than 100 corporate transactions worldwide for over US$100b of transaction value.

Geoffrey ‘Geoff’ Hill

Geoff was a Director of ARR from 1989 to June 2014 and re-joined the board on 27 August 2015. He has extensive experience identifying and implementing mergers and takeovers and has acted for various corporate clients in Australia and overseas. Geoff also has extensive experience in giving corporate advice to mining companies.

He is a Director of unlisted companies, including International Pacific Capital Limited, So Co Ltd, Coromandel Gold Limited and Texas and Oklahoma Coal Company Limited. Listed company directorships include Metals Finance Corporation Limited (ASX: MFC), Mount Gibson Iron Limited (ASX: MGX) and Advance Metals (ASX: AVM)

He previously was Chairman  of Mount Gibson Iron and  a Director  of Centrex Limited

Chris Gibbs

Chris has over 28 years of experience in the resource sector within Australia, Canada, the US, South America, Africa and Europe. He is an innovative leader with a proven track record for implementing organisational change and delivering business results. Before joining American Rare Earths,  he was Vice President and General Manager for Argonaut Gold’s Canada business and led the development of the Magino Gold Project. He has also held various leadership roles with Centerra Gold and Thompson Creek Metals, including VP of Operations, VP of Operational Excellence and VP of General Manager of the Langeloth Metallurgical Company in Pittsburgh and VP General Manager of the Endako Mine in British Columbia. Chris has also held various leadership roles with Barrick Gold, Placer Dome and Millennium Chemicals.

He holds a and a Bachelor of Business from Curtin University of Western Australia.

Mr. Mansanti is an experienced mining leader who creates shareholder value by leading and managing operational, technical and capital projects.

John has more than 45 years of experience leading successful teams in mining and is currently a consultant to the minerals industry. Those teams were successful in project development, engineering, project financing, capital execution, and operations. Mr. Mansanti led several teams in the successful procurement of project permits and subsequent compliance. In addition to 30 years of leading precious metals projects and operations, his multi-commodity background includes leading the development and operation of conventional mined, solution mined, and solar evaporated potash production, base metals operations, and trona solution mine development.

Melissa ‘Mel’ Sanderson

Mel’s International career has spanned diplomacy and mining for more than 30 years. Mel is adept at cross-cultural communication and brings exceptional leadership experience in inclusivity and diversity issues. At global mining leader Freeport-McMoRan, Mel sited, staffed and ran a corporate office focused on government and public relations and social responsibility programs. She has also served as a senior diplomat in the US Department of State.

Kenneth ‘Ken’ Traub

Mr. Traub has over 30 years of experience as a CEO, chairman, director, investor, and consultant in public companies with a successful track record of driving strategic, financial, operational and governance improvements to enhance shareholder value.

Since 2019, Mr. Traub has been serving as the Managing Partner of Delta Value Advisors, a strategic consulting and investment advisory firm, specialising in corporate governance and turnarounds. Mr. Traub also currently serves on the Board of Directors and is Chairman of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee of Tidewater, Inc. (NYSE: TDW), the leading global owner and operator of offshore support vessels for the energy industry.

Paul Zink

Mr. Zink has more than 45 years of experience in leading and building cross functional teams in mineral royalties, mineral economics, financial management, strategic planning, and acquisition targeting. Mr. Zink has served as a director for several companies including Timberline Resources, Rare Element Resources and Atna Resources, where he chaired the Audit Committees. 

Mr. Zink is currently a Professor of Practice in the Economics and Business and Mining Engineering departments at the Colorado School of Mines.  Prior to this position, he served in Chief Financial Officer roles at Pure Energy Materials, a lithium development company, at Rare Element Resources, and at Koch Mineral Services, a division of Koch Industries. Mr. Zink has also served as President of International Royalty Corporation and of Eurasian Capital, a division of Eurasian Minerals (now EMX Royalty Corp.).  Earlier in his career, he also served as Chief Credit Officer of Koch Industries and Director of Corporate Development for Pegasus Gold.  He began his career with J.P. Morgan and held various positions, including VP of Mining and Metals Equity Research and Project Finance officer. He holds a BA in Economics and International Relations from Lehigh University.  Mr. Zink is a regular member of the Mining and Metallurgical Society of America and a professional member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration.
