Sara received her B.S. in geology from Bucknell University and her M.S. in geology from the University of Montana where she specialized in metamorphic petrology and Precambrian tectonics.
Prior to joining the WRE team, Sara completed an internship at an oil and gas company in Houston, Texas, and worked as a contract geologist on a multi-year EarthMRI project at the Wyoming State Geological Survey which focused on critical mineral assessment of the Laramie Anorthosite Complex. Her prior experience in the Laramie Range and extensive background in field geology and metamorphic and igneous petrology will provide strong, technical support across all of WRE’s projects.
Brianna earned a B.S. degree from the Geology & Geophysics program at Louisiana State University and a M.S. degree in Geoscience from the University of Montana. She has specialized in analytical mineralogy, geochemistry, and Precambrian tectonics.
Before joining WRE, she served with a Denver based oil and gas company on large-scale data integration and the development of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) program that utilizes 3D seismic data. Separately, she worked as a consulting geologist, collaborating with several energy resource companies as she interpreted a wide variety of geotechnical and engineering data to strategize well developments and explore for untapped natural gas and oil reserves.
The culmination of her field operations and computational experience, combined with her background in mineralogy and geochemistry, will allow her to serve as a robust source of geologic knowledge, analysis and technical writing for the WRE team.
